My name is Oliva Meza and I have spent more than a decade immersed in the world of Mexican folk art.

Before founding Oliva Arte y Curadur\u00eda<\/strong>, I worked for 12 years at a foundation that housed one of the most extensive folk art collections in the country. There I learned to look closely: to know artisans by name, to understand their processes, to distinguish an exceptional piece from an ordinary one. That knowledge cannot be learned from books it is built through time, presence, and a genuine relationship with the people who make the art.

The idea of Oliva was born in 2018<\/strong>, and by 2020 <\/strong>it had become a real project.<\/p>
